A reflection of the road in the lake. Sometimes we wonder if we took the right path. The reflection represents the path we didn't take.
About John Benedict
In 1964 the high school I was attending had a photography class. I decided to try it out and I loved it. I became the schools best photographer until I graduated in 1966. I wasn't done and decided to join the Navy and continue my passion as a photographer on the high seas. Well that dream wasn't met in the beginning. My recruiter told me I would come out of boot camp as a designated Photographers Mate. Instead I came out as a Sonar Technician General. To make a long story short, two years later I passed the Third Class Photographers exam I and became a Third Class Photographers Mate. I was the flight deck photographer when we were out to sea and a public relations photographer on land. In 1970, Dupont offered me a half tuition scholarship...
